Dog Walks
Neighbourhood or trail walks tailored to your dog’s pace and energy — choose 30 or 60 minutes. Private and on-leash, from your door back to your door. Extra dogs in the same household are $12 each. Separately walked dogs are two full walks.

Full overnight care in your home so your pets have company through the night. Stays of up to 5 nights — on-site from 5pm to 7am when booked. Overnights are always with me (Ocea) — not a rotating walker.
$90–$100 CAD / night · 1–5 nights
Small & medium dogs and cats $90/night · large & giant dogs $100/night. Holiday $130/$145, last-minute (inside 72h) $115/$125, emergency/same-week $150 when offered. More than one pet staying? The highest-rate dog pays full price and every other pet is 50% off its own rate.

Maximum 5 nights per overnight booking · preferred minimum 2 nights · one night only when that evening is already open. Same-week or rush overnight — ask for availability and a quote.
How I Care for Coast Pets
- Private, on-leash walks — door-to-door, one household at a time. No pack walks, no dog parks as the default.
- Arrival windows — walks and drop-ins are booked into about a 1-hour window so the day’s route can flex with traffic and weather.
- Photo updates — after each walk I send a quick photo and notes so you know how it went.
- Who shows up — walks and drop-ins are me (Ocea) or a vetted trusted Coast walker under Sunshine Coast Pet Sitting. Overnight stays are always me.

Plan a regular routinePackages cover 30-minute walks for one dog, are per household and never expire. Prefund your pack; arrange packages and standing schedules when you book. Extra dogs from the same household are +$12 each and aren’t discounted. A single 30-minute walk is $35; 60-minute walks are $55.
Deposit & Booking Policy
New Client Deposit: 25% of your stay
New overnight clients: 25% of the stay, $75 minimum / $250 maximum, applied to the invoice. Refundable with 7+ days' notice. Returning clients are usually exempt once we've built trust. A deposit is required to confirm overnight bookings for new clients. This helps ensure commitment and protects my ability to plan my schedule around your pet care.
Overnight cancellation:
- 7+ days’ notice: deposit refunded
- 3–6 days’ notice: deposit retained
- Under 3 days’ notice: 50% of the stay
Walk & drop-in cancellation:
- 24 hours’ notice — or the visit is billed.
Extra charges
- Key collection / extra trip: $15, waived with your first paid visit.
- Outside the core area (Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt): +$10 per walk or drop-in, +$20 per overnight night.
Why This Policy?
When I book time in someone’s home, I plan my personal life and work schedule around it. I prep, pack, and rearrange my routines. Last-minute cancellations throw a wrench into my normal life and business. This policy helps me maintain reliable service for all my clients.
Returning Clients
No deposit required for established overnight clients. Same 7-day overnight cancellation notice applies.
Walks & drop-ins — no deposit, ever
Walks and drop-in visits never require a deposit, for new or returning clients. Payment is due when the visit is complete.
Current Service Terms
Three services: Private dog walks (30 or 60 minutes), house drop-in visits (30 or 60 minutes), and overnight in-home sits (up to 5 nights, 5pm-7am).
Experience with Anxious Pets: I have extensive experience working with anxious, fearful, or shy animals. I provide patient, calm care that helps pets feel safe and secure in their own home environment.
Overnight daytime note: During overnight bookings I am on-site evenings through mornings. If your pet cannot be left alone for stretches during the day, tell me up front so we can plan walks, drop-ins, or confirm whether overnight alone is the right fit.
